AI visibility for local business

When someone asks an AI for the best business like yours, does your name come up?

BoostInAI asks eight AI assistants the local questions your customers actually ask — several times each — and counts how often you're named. Then we fix and keep watch on the listing data those assistants read about you.

We measure and we fix. We don't promise placement. No one controls what an AI says, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling you something. What we can do is measure it honestly and clean up every input that feeds it.

Why this matters now

A search page had ten results. An AI answer has three.

When a customer typed "plumber near me" they got a page of options and picked one. When they ask an assistant, they get a short answer that names a handful of businesses — and there is no page two. Either you're in that answer or you're not in the conversation.

The assistants build those answers from the same business data everyone's been ignoring for years: your Google profile, Bing, Apple, Yelp, Facebook, the aggregators. If that data is wrong, thin, or contradicts itself, you're a harder business to recommend.

A scan result, honestly stated

33% mention rate

Named in 8 of 24 samples across 4 assistants

ChatGPT50% of 6
Google AI33% of 6
Perplexity33% of 6
Gemini17% of 6

Every percentage is over a stated number of samples, because AI answers change between runs. We keep every raw answer so you can check our work. Illustrative example.

How it works

Measure it. Fix it. Keep it fixed.

Three jobs, run continuously — not a one-time report you file away.

01

We measure

We ask each assistant your local questions — "best plumber in Austin", "emergency AC repair near me" — several times over, because the answers change between runs. You get a mention rate over a stated number of samples, plus the businesses named instead of you.

02

We fix

You approve one source of truth: name, address, phone, hours, categories, services. We compare it against what eight listing sources actually say, and fix every mismatch — with a before and after on each one.

03

We keep it fixed

Listings rot. Someone "suggests an edit" to your hours, a category flips, a duplicate appears, a platform rewrites a field. We check daily, put it back, and tell you we did.

What we sell, and what we don't

There's a lot of "get cited by AI" being sold right now. Here's exactly where the line is for us.

What we do

  • Measure how often eight assistants name you, sampled repeatedly, with every raw answer kept.
  • Hold eight listing sources to one source of truth you approve.
  • Catch unauthorized changes to your listings and put them back.
  • Show you which businesses the assistants name instead of you.
  • Send you a weekly report of what actually happened — receipts, not vibes.

What we don't

  • Promise that any AI will recommend you. Nobody can promise that.
  • Claim to influence or train a model. We improve the data models read, not the models.
  • Report a single lucky answer as a result. Percentages over samples, always.
  • Lock you into a contract or a minimum term.
  • Charge a setup fee for the cleanup. It's included.
Why it's monthly

Clean data doesn't stay clean.

A cleanup is a one-day job. Staying clean isn't. Platforms accept edits from strangers, merge duplicates badly, and quietly rewrite fields. Your competitors are moving too — mention rate is relative, so standing still is losing ground.

So every week you get the same thing: what we checked, what we caught, what we fixed, and where your mention rate went. If a week was quiet, the report says the week was quiet.

Our guarantee is about our work, not the AIs. If your business data isn't consistent across all eight sources within 30 days of you giving us access, your first month is free. We won't guarantee a mention rate, because that would be a guarantee we don't control.

FAQ

Questions worth asking

Can you actually get ChatGPT to recommend me?

No, and neither can anyone else. What an assistant says is generated fresh each time from sources it chooses. What we can do is make sure every source it's likely to read has correct, complete, consistent information about you — and measure honestly whether that moves the number over time.

Why is it a percentage instead of a yes or no?

Because AI answers are non-deterministic. Ask the same assistant the same question five times and you can get five different lists. A single "you're in!" would be close to meaningless. We run each question several times per assistant and report mentions over samples, and we keep every raw answer so you can audit any number we show you.

Does listing hygiene really change what AI says?

It's the most direct lever anyone has, and it's the one we can verify — but we'll be straight with you: reviews and off-page content matter too, and the size of the effect varies by business and market. We're running a measured pilot on real businesses to quantify it, and we'll publish what we find, including if it's less than we hoped.

What do you need from me?

Access as a manager on the profiles you already own — one click for Google, Facebook and Bing; adding our email as a manager on the rest. You stay the owner of every profile. We're never the owner, which also means we can never lock you out or take your listings with us.

What if I don't have some of these listings?

We create and claim them for you. Be aware some platforms verify by postcard or phone, which can take a couple of weeks — that's their timeline, not ours, and we'll show you where each one stands.

What happens if I cancel?

You cancel yourself from the dashboard and keep everything we fixed — the listings are yours, on accounts you own. Monitoring stops, so nothing catches the next drift. No exit fee, no last-month gotcha.

Does this work for my industry?

It's industry-agnostic. Anything a person asks an assistant to recommend locally — home services, medical and dental, legal and accounting, salons, restaurants, auto, retail, instructors. We build your questions from your category, your services and your city.

Find out where you actually stand.

The scan is free and takes a minute to request. If the number's fine, you've learned something for nothing. If it isn't, you'll know exactly which eight things to fix.
